Aaron had his first serious exposure to photography when he was studying graphic design in Hong Kong in the 1980. He acquired his first SLR at the end of the decade, and started to take his passion to a professional level in 2001, after being introduced to nature photography.
As a committee member of the Nature Photographic Society (Singapore), he conducted classes on macro photography, color management and basic Photoshop techniques. He also ran photography workshops and led guided outings. In 2003 he was awarded the APSS by the Photographic Society of Singapore.
Although Aaron has never made photography his career, his work found its way to different publications, including “To Singapore with Love” published in 2005. Some have also been exhibited in various high profile locations such as the epSITE, Singapore Zoo, and the Botanic Gardens.
After focusing on nature photography for more than 5 years, Aaron recently expanded his scope to include travel photography. He is also a trainer for photography techniques and styles.
