Vassilis Legakis

Vassilis has been developing software for mobile devices and embedded systems since 2002. During this time he has brought to completion a vast area of projects from warehouse IT logistics to gaming physics engines in various platforms and technologies. In 2007 he won the first prize at NOKIA's international C++ competition for his multiple runtimes intercommunication engine LHS. Since 2008 he is Head of Mobile Development of San Fransisco based Velti Inc. following the company to its successful NASDAQ listing (NASDAQ:VELT). Vassilis is currently pursuing a Master degree in Algorithmic Complexity and Logic at Athens University of Mathematics.

Why Lab?

Lab is a color space. It aspires to perceptual uniformity, and its L component closely matches human perception of lightness. Many of the “colors” within Lab space are purely imaginary and cannot be reproduced in the physical world. Lab is math and art in one.

Our logo

Filippo Tommaso Marinetti (December 22, 1876 – December 2, 1944) was an Italian artist. He founded the Futurist movement. He said: "With this typographical revolution and this multicoloured variety in the letters I mean to redouble the expressive force of words"

Certificate Policy

As an Adobe Authorized Training Centre, VoxLab participants receive an attendance certificate upon completion of at least 80% of each lab.
