Yes. Since the $30 registration fee entitles the participant to a free refresher Lab within a year of his/her Lab end date, we need to keep track of the enrollment date of each participant. Therefore, every participant who enrolled before July 1, 2011 and wants to be entitled to a free refresher Lab, is required to pay the registration fee.

VOX LAB often conducts Labs for schools, companies and organizations at their premises. Once our expert trainers have been given your specific course expectations, they can assist with your company's expected outcome with customized outlines and Lab material.

Payment should be made upon receipt of the email confirmation with its attached invoice. Full Lab fees have to be paid 5 working days before the Lab commences. As certain Labs have participants in waiting-list, seat assignment will follow the order of payment date. When a Lab reaches maximum capacity, additional enrollments will be transferred to the next available intake.

Corporate clients and company-sponsored applications can pay via Bank Transfer, Paypal, Cash or Credit Card. Upon receipt of an invoice from VOX LAB, companies have to provide us with a Purchase Order indicating confirmation of Lab participation and credit terms (if payment is to be made after the course run).

Individual, self-funded applicants should pay via Bank Transfer, Paypal or Cash. Full payment should be made 7 days before the course commencement.

Withdrawal

All cancellation, withdrawal or postponement of a confirmed booking request must be made in writing at least 5 working days before the Lab commences. No other mode of notice will be accepted. For company-sponsored participants, the withdrawal must be signed by authorized representative of the company.

Refund Policy

Refund of course fees paid to VOX LAB Pte Ltd will be based on the following. Refund will be made within 30 days from the date of approved refund letter/email. When 'WRITTEN NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL' is received:

More than seven (7) working days before course commencement: -Full refund of Fees Paid

Between seven (7) and five (5) working days before Lab commencement: - Refund of Fees Paid. Cancellation charge of S$50 is applicable.

Five (5) or less working days before Lab commencement or after: - No refund.

How to claim SDF grant (for company-sponsored participants only).

1. The company's relevant department will need to log onto www.skillsconnect.gov.sg and apply for the training grant.
2. VOX LAB will receive the claim and ensure the participant and company’s details are correct before submitting the claim to SDF.
3. SDF will process the claim and permit VOX LAB to refund the claimed amount to the company.
4. The company will receive a cheque from VOX LAB and the relevant department would need to acknowledge receipt of it.

Criteria for claiming SDF grant

1. The company may only apply for the training grant after the commencement of the course.
2. The company has to file the claim on SkillsConnect’s website within 30 days from the course start date.
3. Full payment of course fees must be made to VOX LAB.
4. The participant has to attend at least 75% of the entire training duration.

Yes. Elevator and ramp access is available from the ground floor and car-park floors all the way to our office. All our training rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Daytime sessions: 9:30am - 5:30pm. (Lunch break:12:30pm to 2:00pm)
Evening sessions: 6.30pm - 9.30pm.

The VOX LAB pantry is constantly refilled with packet water, Nespresso, apples, cereal bars or cookies, coffee, tea and Milo and you are free to help yourself!

They are the names of the various rooms in which we conduct the Lab sessions. Dali and Picasso are MAC rooms while Warhol and Marinetti are PC rooms.

Due to licensing regulations, software used in VOX LAB may only be used on our premises. Learners have to purchase their own license of the software.

Our trainers are contactable via e-mail regarding any questions you may have after completing your Lab. If a refresher Lab seems necessary, or if you require more advanced skills, our trainers will then advise you accordingly.

You will receive a Certificate of Attendance for the Lab you attend, upon completing the Lab.

Our Labs are based on current practices in the relevant industries. We share real-case scenarios during our lessons.

Learners are encouraged to bring their previous works if they need any advice on them from our trainers.

The Shaw Center building (where we are located) has centralized air-conditioning. While our rooms are cozy, you may find certain seats that are directly adjacent to Macintosh computers a bit warm. So a sweater or jacket are optional. The temperature may stay around 22 - 24 degrees Celsius when it is raining.

You may retake one single Lab per year.

Retake is applicable to only ONE of the Labs in the bundle, subject to availability and eligibility.
