3ds Max is a software tool that allows designers to focus their time and energy on the creative aspect rather than technical aspects. This course is designed to provide participants with the basic knowledge on the functionality, features and principles behind 3ds Max Design, animate objects in the scene, import data from 3D applications and embellish scenes with the use of materials and maps. Learners will go through a 6 day course to complete the 3 Levels required to better understand the software.
Level 1 is our introductory course with the basics of user interface, command panels, file I/O, transforming objects and will be expected to do exercises that create a plane of simple geometrical objects.
Upon the completion of Level 1, learners will then be able to move onto Level 2. Our course outline extends from light introduction to standard light. Once again, participants will be tasked with an exercise to create a group geometrical object and adjust lights in the environment.
In the final level, Level 3, participants will build a simple house in 3D which would require them to animate an object, create water, add hair and fur, be able to understand the difference between Mental Ray and Default Scanline rendeer and works in the likes.
